Our obsession with DJ Cards seems to grow with every listen. We just featured his singles Grab That Fall Feeling, and the unity-inspiring We Rise Up (The Stadium Hype Song), so naturally, we had to dig deeper and share our perspective on his track, Lose It in the Lights.
Lose It in the Lights opens with a glitched, astral vocal chop, expanding into a warm and euphoric synthscape with the lyrics, “Feel the light, let’s go, move your feet, take control, don’t slow down, feel it rise, feel the light, lose control…”
The track evolves with an EDM riser and a male vocal exclamation of the words, “Hands up now…” tapping into a nostalgic Euro-dance energy that fans of Aqua, Eiffel 65, O-Zone, Culture Beat, and Sash! would be able to connect with.

We experience a dimensional bass synth, intertwined with a riser, leading us to an epic drop that is super club-friendly. We could imagine this on the beach in Ibiza, or a club night at Scorpios in Mykonos. It has a feel-good escapism energy which feels super important in the face of so much global turmoil.
We return to the luscious female vocal hook which leads us through to another drop, high-octane and subversive. EDM-pop perfection at its finest. DJ Cards says the track is “designed to transport listeners straight to the heart of the dance-floor.”
As always, we are obsessed, and have added Lose It in the Lights to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we continue to stream the exquisite, growing discography of DJ Cards, and anticipate future releases from the innovative lawyer and maestro.
