We previously featured DJ Cards for his high-energy, feel-good, unity-inspiring anthem We Rise Up (The Stadium Hype Song), so naturally, we were curious to explore the rising artist’s wider discography, and wanted to feature his single, Grab That Fall Feeling.
The track opens with a cosmic riser, expanding into a dimensional guitar soundscape with ethereal ad-libs and the lyrics, “It’s changing… you can feel it…” which resonate like a mantra. Grab That Fall Feeling shares poetic prowess about autumn.
Lyrics like, “Cooler nights, those bright stadium lights, beach days are ending, it’s back to school time, let’s go shopping…” set the tone for a relatable scene that we have all experienced. The literal nature of the track makes it perfect for a TV show like Euphoria on HBO, or Heartbreak High on Netflix.
We appreciate the positive outlook that manifests with the prose, and the danceability of the song. Its length also makes it a good match for a Netflix reality show like Love is Blind, or Selling Sunset.
Fans of Kygo, David Guetta, and Diplo will be able to connect with what DJ Cards is generating. The wholesome nature of his discography can definitely resonate on a mainstream level, and this grounded essence is surely representative of his dual identity as a lawyer by day and producer by night.
