We recently featured the talented J.Fur when he took us on a mesmerizing trip with Man From Oslo, so when we heard that the star from San Diego had just released the brand new, innovatively titled single, Extravertical, we couldn’t wait to listen and feed back!
Establishing the mood with textured percussion and a signature pulsating beat with astral synth detailing and an expansive energy, J.Fur opens Extravertical with dimensionality and originality.
The composition evolves into a deep-house electronica hybrid energy, as the visionary producer takes us on a vibrant and playful journey, akin to a psychedelics trip. Needless to say, we are in awe of the cohesive and elegant tapestry of sound that the artist creates.
We absolutely love the airy risers that take over the opus mid-way though the piece, and the glitched percussive elements that demonstrate the dynamic mastery that J.Fur, also known as composer Jordan Furlong exhibits.
We learn that Extravertical has already been “lighting up dance floors across San Diego’s underground dance scene”, and we can only imagine how epic it would be to experience the euphoric masterpiece in a club.
It is no surprise that J.Fur is building a stellar reputation as a rising talent within the electronica and dance community, and Extravertical is being released as part of a four track EP dropping in full this Summer!
