J.Fur takes us on a mesmerizing trip with new single, Man From Oslo

Drawing us in with a pulsating beat, intricate and textured percussion, synthetic and cerebral tones and a dimensional riser, J.Fur opens Man From Oslo with intrigue and intricacy.

The opus expands with a masterful mix, and a transcendental energy, as we are taken on an immersive journey though the psyche of the artist, with an expansive energy. We experience ebbs and flows with the soundscape, which is wholly ethereal and laced with intricate and nuanced electronica.

The melodic house opus is produced by J.Fur, who is also known as artist Jordan Furlong, and is designed to blend modern club grooves with reflective and introspective soundscapes. It is the first single from his upcoming EP, Extravertical.

Mid-way though the piece, we feel a stripped down minimalist energy, which allows the track time to rebuild with a luscious synthscape and enigmatic, siren-esque risers and as we are deeper engrossed in the outcome of the masterpiece.

Speaking on the release, J.Fur confesses, “The single’s danse noir backbone sees an edgy, pumping beat contrasted by lush synth textures and an alluring vocal topline, a synthesis which can create special listening experiences on pensive night-time drives or high-energy dance floors.”

Since downloading Ableton in his college dorm room, Jordan Furlong has spent the last eight years crafting his own unique approach to electronic music, and we love the result. His self-described style is “a reflection of his thirst for adventure and a conduit between his inner self and the outside world.”

We have added J.Fur‘s Man From Oslo to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream his debut album Las Ramblas and his wider discography!
