We previously featured Disco Dreams for taking us on a psychedelic trip with the mind-bending and intricate single, Lizard Space Lounge, so when we heard that the talented artist was back with OutLands, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in his sonic universe once again.
OutLands opens with a cosmic arpeggio synthscape with a subtle sub-bass, expanding into a dimensional and kaleidoscopic energy with a nod to Disco Dreams‘ signature psychedelic vibes. The cohesive tapestry of sound is sublime, euphoric and hypnotic. It evolves with cerebral, atmospheric vocals that fans of Sufjan Stevens and Air will be able to connect with.
