Establishing the mood with a subversive, industrial sub-bass and whirring textures, expanding with crashing percussion hits and a dimensional bass guitar performance, akin to a dark wave meets electronica adventure, Disco Dreams opens Lizard Space Lounge with intrigue and drama.
The opus evolves with intricacy and cerebral vocal detailing to envelope us further. We appreciate the boundless, neuroplasticity enhancing production and the unique sound design elements that tap into a futuristic frequency.
Lizard Space Lounge manifests a psychedelic overarching experience, in line with the conceptual title of the track. We are transported to a DMT realm where the universe shows itself as a plethora of reptilian gods, and needless to say, we are obsessed.
We learn that Lizard Space Lounge is part of a three part, intergalactic EP called Cyber Trippin’. Speaking on the release, the talented Disco Dreams confesses, “This EP starts off with a psychedelic, synth wave journey that feels liken you are traveling through time and space. It then ends with Lizard Space Lounge which is an upbeat, synth pop jam.”
Elaborating on his career, the star adds, “I am trying to play as many shows as I can at the moment and I am almost done with a live action animated music video [that] I created for this song on After Effects with my partner.”
We love what Disco Dreams is creating, and had to listen to Cyber Trippin’ in full, which includes the title track and the philosophically names Alkaline! The entirety of the adventure is sublime, transcendental and masterfully produced!
