Our obsession with Keesha Blair seems to grow with every listen. We last featured the visionary, spiritual artist for setting firm boundaries and choosing peace on Access Declined, so when we heard that Keesha was back with Peaceful Power, we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Peaceful Power opens with the lyrics, “I hold the sun, and the moon, lioness within me, I’m in tune, I love my light, I love my dark, what once was scars, now sacred art…” accompanied by textured drums and an emotive piano performance.
Once again, we are enamoured by the poetic prowess and the intentional and self-realized depth of the prose. Keesha Blair is a highly attuned artist, creating high vibrational songs that remind us of who we truly are.
“Free to love all that I am, free to heal and understands, peaceful power, truth surrounds, we rise in love, feet on the ground…” sings Keesha as she shares her wisdom and notions of oneness. The rapped spoken segment with ad-libs of gratitude, lead to a manifestation of connecting with the universe and our inner child.

Speaking on the release of Peaceful Power, Keesha tells us, “The song explores what it means to move beyond the habit of dividing the self into good or bad, light or dark, right or wrong. Peaceful Power invites listeners into a more compassionate understanding of wholeness, where the parts once judged, hidden, or wounded are loved, honored, and restored.”
With its uplifting message of healing, self-discovery, and inner strength, we could imagine Peaceful Power being featured in films like Eat Pray Love, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, or The Pursuit of Happyness.
For Keesha Blair, peace is not a sign of weakness. It is a source of strength that comes from self-love, self-acceptance, confidence and emotional clarity. The song’s repeated message, “We were always perfect, whole, complete,” reminds us that healing is about remembering that we have been worthy all along.
We are grateful that Keesha Blair uses Divine Purpose Music to create songs that encourage healing, empowerment, emotional growth, and self-discovery, and have added Peaceful Power to our New Music Spotlight playlist and our TIMELESS playlist whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Keesha Blair, including Limitless & Free, and Healing Waters.
