Drawing us in with an ethereal yet mildly cerebral synthscape, NINA and Radio Wolf open To See You with a meditative aura. The opus expands into a psychedelic synth-pop energy with textured drums as NINA sings, “Rise and shine tonight, angel calls, stars burn out so bright, heaven falls, daylight out of sight, moonlight calls, fading out the light, darkness falls…”
Her vocals are atmospheric and we appreciate the poetic prowess with cinematic storytelling. There is an intimacy to what manifests, and overall, the track is rather hypnotic. There is no doubt that To See You would fit perfectly into a TV show like Nine Perfect Strangers, or an episode of Euphoria on HBO.
There’s a timelessness to the song’s exploration of human connection, illusion and desire. Fans of MGMT, Chromatics, The Raveonettes, Bat For Lashes, Ladyhawke, and Cannons would absolutely be able to connect with To See You.

The guitar solo is simply transcendental, allowing for introspection and a moment to truly feel the emotional depth of the track. We learn that NINA and Radio Wolf are working together to create a darker and more emotional mix of synthwave, electronic rock, and guitar-driven music.
Their songs, including Don’t Trust The Night, My Dark, Tokyo Cowboy, and Bluesbreaker have already been praised for their unique sound, and they recently performed across Europe while touring with Cannons. From their studio, Juke Empire, the duo are continuing to make new music and grow their dreamlike world.
Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added To See You to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of NINA andRadio Wolf, and anticipate future releases from their album Jukebox Dream, due out on June 19!
