We last featured Karen Salicath Jamali as she shared a divine resonance with her celestial masterpiece, Wings of Gabriel, so when we heard that the conscious and connected artist was back with Seeds of God, poignantly released on the new moon, we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Seeds of God opens with a spiritual whistle tone and cinematic guitar arpeggios, before expanding with Karen’s captivating vocals – ethereal in nature and poetic in construct. The track feels raw and meditative, poignant and chill-inducing.
Karen reminds us of early ANOHNI and brings us to tears with her voice and connected soul. Seeds of God serves as a reminder of oneness and the unified nature of reality. The imprint is that we are part of the universe, and divine creations. Karen’s vocals feel like a physical world manifestation of Gaia.
This is the first time that Karen has performed vocals and guitar on a recorded track, in turn, adding a new dimension to her established body of work as a composer and pianist. Karen’s NDE (Near Death Experience) has clearly resulted in a conscious tether with source energy, and this truly transmutes with her voice on Seeds of God.
Karen confesses, “This piece came differently: as a deeply personal message inspired by my near-death experience. During that experience, I saw humanity as small seeds within a greater consciousness – connected, unified, and rooted in love. Seeds of God expresses this vision.”

We feel the high spiritual quotient in abundance, and there is an almost shamanic energy that comes to life with the track. We feel moved and could imagine the track being featured in a pivotal scene of a TV show like Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman, which has cosmic and psychedelic themes.
Karen Salicath Jamali is a self-taught composer and pianist whose musical journey began after her life-altering head injury and NDE in 2012, awakening an unexpected ability to play and compose piano despite no prior training. Following a three-year recovery, she began hearing music in her dreams and translating these visions into deeply meditative compositions that aim to bring listeners into a relaxed, healing state of consciousness. Since 2015, she has created over 2,500 works across eight albums and performed her original music eight times at Carnegie Hall.
Naturally, we have added Seeds of God to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream her piano compositions and await future vocal-led projects from the visionary artist.
