Establishing the mood with cerebral, atmospheric vocals, expanding with a dimensional and futuristic Afrobeats energy, *COPE. opens No Request with trippy vibes and an evocative flow with a charismatic delivery.
We are immediately enthralled by the charm and feel-good, yet assertive nature that transmutes. The composition manifests a cohesive tapestry of sound with intricate sound design that keeps us gripped throughout. Boundless synth notes intertwine with the vocal sample layer that serves as a permanent melodic texture, whilst *COPE. shares his personality through intelligent, narrative-driven lyrics, a relatable concept and smooth intonations with intricate ad-libs.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the release, *COPE. confesses, “My good friend Chris Moore, [who is a] model [and] DJ in New York City, [and] his brand No Request influenced the song. The song is a DJs anthem. [It] takes you through my perspective of a DJ’s night with my cinematic storytelling. If you close your eyes you can picture each verse and hook vividly. I also love making cinematic songs that can be perfectly place in movies and as the theme song of people’s lives.”
Hailing from Tampa, United States, *COPE. is a genre-bending artist who is becoming known for blending eclectic sounds into a distinctive, high-energy mood. Beyond his driving rhythm and dynamic production, *COPE.‘s unique songwriting infuses his own lived experiences and observations.

We learn that the production of No Request was a collaborative effort that further highlights *COPE.‘s attention to detail. The music was produced with Cheap Limousine, whilst Maxx Forman shares his mixing skills at his studio, Mixed Media in Ybor City, Florida.
*COPE. tells us how he also drew on his own past as a Division 1 football player to craft the cinematic and dimensional track. Even the hook wasreportedly inspired during a shower session, which again demonstrates his knack for spontaneity and authentic storytelling.
Naturally, we are in awe, and have added the dimensional track to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of *COPE., including Hollow Man, and In My Mind.
