Speaking on the release of Sweet Remy Jewel, the creators tell us, “The song follows the persona of an extrovert boy who is very enthusiastic about his nerdy interest. Unfortunately none of his interests are shared with his schoolmates, and therefore he is being rejected and stays in the outskirts of the community.”
We love the narrative-driven nature of the piece, and Elyz brings it to life both charismatically and evocatively with cosmic, layered harmonies. The soundscape from NMTL showcases nothing short of instrumental mastery, laced with dynamic moments and stunning solos which feel emotional, yet meditative.
