ARO returns with reflective and self-realized sophomore single, I Fall in Love Too Many Times

We previously featured ARO for her evocative and emotionally profound debut single, Let Me Go, so when we heard that the rising talent was back with I Fall in Love Too Many Times, we had a feeling that we might be in for a treat!

Setting the tone with an atmospheric and celestial energy, I Fall in Love Too Many Times opens as ARO shares introspective prose taking us on a thought-provoking and personal journey.

The composition expands into a luscious pop landscape, exhibiting a charismatic flow from the star with magnetic hooks and poetic nuance. We appreciate the lyricism that ARO shares, her authenticity is tangible as she sings the title of the track.

Speaking on the writing process of I Fall in Love Too Many Times, ARO admits, “This song is one of those songs that I sat down to write and it all came out of me in about fifteen minutes flat. I find that those kinds of songs with that kind of urgency to come into the world tend to be really real and special to me. It’s like the song wants to move through me, I’m just the vessel.”

The confessional song comes with a stunning and cinematic self-directed music video, filmed at a Versailles themed studio in Downtown LA. The visual sees ARO appear as different French Rococo characters, including a nod towards Marie Antoinette herself.

She says, “Marie Antoinette is a symbol of hyper-femininity and overindulgence. In a way this song represents my own overindulgence in all these different facets of myself, and getting lost in each of them. I really wanted to capture the extravagance and melodrama of the time period in each of these characters. The video is meant to be a little bit cheeky – here I am dressed up in all these elaborate costumes, you can see my real hair coming out from under my wigs, here I am trying to be all these people that I’m not, and look at all the effort I’m putting into it.”

We love what ARO is creating and have added I Fall in Love Too Many Times to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream ARO‘s growing discography and anticipate future releases from the star!
