We learn that GRACII draws inspiration from an array of influences including Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Esthero, and Res to name a few, although it is abundantly clear that the star is creating a universe of her own.
The piano performance leading to the middle eight sends us astral before an anthemic final reprise showcasing the vocalist’s whistle tone and iconic range.
Speaking on the empowering release as a whole, GRACII confesses, “The hook hit me first, then the rest of the lyrics fell into place around it. I wanted to explore an aspect of the human struggle with temptation and the consequences of giving in to it [and] your urges.”
