colouring teases upcoming sophomore album with evocative and atmospheric new single, Lune

Drawing us in with an ethereal melody and textured, intricate percussion, colouring opens Lune with intrigue and dimensionality. Needless to say, we are in awe.

The opus expands with situational and emotive prose as colouring, also known as multi-disciplinary artist Jack Kenworthy, takes us on an evocative journey with poetic prowess and introspective nuance.

Speaking on the release of Lune, Jack confesses, “For me, this is the song about teamwork in a relationship. It’s a message of togetherness between two people during adversity and how you prop each other up when the other feels weak.”

The intentional and authentic depth that colouring creates with is tangible, and we learn that Jack is gearing up for the release of his second album with Bella Union (Beach House, Father John Misty)!

Lune comes with a stunning, cinematic music video, bringing to life the emotion of the song, directed by Pierce Tews. The track itself showcases production by Jack’s long-time collaborators Gianluca Buccellati and Mikko Gordon.

colouring also just announced news of a London headline show, performing at the iconic St Pancras Old Church on October 4th. In the meantime, we have added Lune to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream colouring‘s wider discography, and anticipate the upcoming album from the visionary artist!
