With a brief percussion nuance, Life of 3 opens with a warm and elegant guitar soundscape before Mark sings emotively, “My journey begins with you…”, reminding us of the charming nature of the star once again. However, the opus trips into a hybrid-rap meets spoken word energy as the artist professes his love for his muse(s). We are enthralled!
Mark Winters exudes romanticism with Life of 3, sharing relatable prose which showcases authenticity and depth simultaneously. With reference to the story behind the song, Mark confesses, “Driving from LA to San Diego, I spotted a couple behind me in a white mini van in my rear view mirror. They had a baby in a car seat and were laughing and chatting, and it made me think of the many wonderful things that have happened in my life, looking through the rear view mirror. Life of 3 (Love, Devotion and Legacy) was born on that drive.”
