Last year, we had the honour of featuring the talented rising star Lukx as he optimised our reality with the captivating single, Sunny, and for his introspective and immersive single, Mood, so when we heard that he had just released the brand new, Hello, we couldn’t wait to listen and feed back!
Once again produced as a family affair with his visionary father, aka Dad aka Nils Malmport, Hello opens with a funky and relatable energy. Lukx delivers intricate flow, documenting waking up in the morning and going about his day. The beat is a vibrant, commercial pop sound with elements of hip-hop and R&B, something that we have learnt to love from Lukx, who also goes by the name Lucas Malmport.
What we love about his artistry, is the ability to convey a charming message with his prose, at the same time as creating synch friendly songs that are perfect for films and adverts. We love the background vocals which add a certain level of pizzazz to the piece as Lukx shares introspective words and inspiring themes.
Once again, the song was recorded, mixed and mastered at Lukx and Nils’ home studio in Belgium. We appreciate the bounce that the song has which adds to its uplifting nature, fused cohesively with the lyricism.
