We recently featured Lukx when he wanted us to optimise our reality with the captivating single, Sunny, so when we heard that he had just released the brand new, Mood, we couldn’t wait to experience it!
Establishing the vibe with a cerebral riff before evolving into a powerful, high octane beat, Lukx opens Mood with a fierce and assertive delivery, and the intricate flow that we have come to love from the rising star.
The composition expands into an introspective opus, where Lukx questions himself and the world as he delivers the hook, “C’est quoi moi dans ce monde?”. We appreciate the depth and vulnerability that the rising star from Belgium shares on Mood, and are in awe of his vocal timbre and the futuristic quality of the mix.
All of Lukx songs are created in collaboration with his father, Nils Malmport (credited on the song as: Dad) who is the composer and producer, and mixes and masters the songs!
Created from their home studio, it is certain that the creative duo are on their way to stardom, and Mood even has a billboard campaign to accompany the release!
Mood gives us a chance to think outside the box with it’s profound and relatable message. We love the way that Lukx and Nils create together, fusing contemporary constructs with timeless energy and a high quality sonic output.
