Love Ghost release emotive and immersive new single, Homesick

It has been an incredibly creative year for Love Ghost, with the releases of their collaborative single with Vollny, Цепи, the empowering and cathartic, Pulp, and the romantic, yet assertive, pop-punk bop, Dirty Pixx with Bali Baby, so when heard that they had just released the brand new single, Homesick, we couldn’t wait to hear it!

Setting the tone with an acoustic guitar and atmospheric vocals, Love Ghost open Homesick with the vulnerable, yet introspective lyrics “We’ve become so traumatized, seen so much got heavy eyes…”

The opus expands into a soft-rock meets indie-alt-pop soundscape with emotive lyricism, laced with poetic prowess as the band take us on a journey through their spirits and minds.

Speaking on the release of the track, the band confess, “Homesick is an emo, acoustic rock sound with a modern twist. The song is about one’s journey to find themselves.”

It is no surprise that Love Ghost have received praised from Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, FLAUNT, Alternative Press, and tonnes of other outlets.

The band recently toured Europe, where they played Rockpalast in Germany. We learn that on August they toured Mexico City playing shows at both Auditorio BB and Amazon’s Gamergy Festival which was broadcast to all of Latin America. They have even collaborated with artists around the world including Rico Nasty, Adan Cruz, Mabiland and Tankurt Manas, but are definitely creating a sound of their own!

We love the charisma, depth and authenticity that they share with Homesick, which shows a more dimensional side of the group, but we also love how the song stays true to their artistry with the anthemic choruses and relatable narrative.

We have added Homesick to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the band’s wider discography including Dirty Pixx, Noviembre and Closure.
