KJ Hand releases profound and captivating debut single, Lost Souls

Setting the tone with bold and enigmatic keys with an immersive electric guitar frequency, KJ Hand opens Lost Souls with intrigue, dimensionality and the situational lyrics, “Here we are, two lost souls in the night, I can see, you’ve had trouble in your life, someone came around, broke your heart and let you down…”

The opus expands into a theatrical, alternative folk energy as KJ Hand delivers a realised and reassuring message with his lyricism, the primary theme of the song being that of unrequited love.

Elaborating on the message of the Lost Souls, KJ Hand comments with wisdom, “The fear of unrequited love makes giving yourself fully to somebody an incredibly vulnerable yet beautiful moment.”

At school KJ Hand joined his first band and discovered that music was part of his DNA. He used his music and song writing to battle the stigma of dyslexia and to be taken more seriously by his peers.

Since then he has toured Europe performing to crowds from London to Sicily. With the band, Yeah Jazz, he released four singles and several albums, progressing to Cherry Red and getting a deal with Southern Publishing, smashing the Indie charts and getting a four star review from the acclaimed Q Magazine. While still exploring the traditional Irish sound with Radio Murphy, the artist is now ready to show us the next step in his own musical journey.

We have added Lost Souls to our New Music Spotlight playlist whilst we anticipate future releases from KJ Hand!
