At a time when culture calls for it the most, and during this time of a great awakening – an innovative new luxury platform and app has launched: BLUXE.
BLUXE.eu is the first global private membership e-commerce platform for showcasing and purchasing indigenous African, Afrocentric and diaspora luxury products and services, launching mid-November 2020.
With the current number of millionaires in Africa at over 145,000 (set to grow by 36% by 2026 according to the New World Wealth report), Bluxe’s purpose is to promote, protect and develop a sector worth £1 trillion to the African economy and contribute to African and Black empowerment via economic means.
It’s high time that a platform established itself in this space, and with consumer awareness at an all time high regarding the historic and disproportionate prejudices of the system, BLUXE is securing itself as the voice of African and Afrocentric luxury.
Demand is growing for brands wanting to be a part of BLUXE – there’s a a growing waiting list and more than 70 luxury brands already on the platform including Adele Dejak, Jesu Segun, Kithe Brewster, Madoda Fani, Maxhosa by Laduma, Vanessa Gounden, The Perfumers Story, Fraser Yachts.
The unique members app – with an inbuilt luxury brand personality test which informs Bluxe of the luxury personality of private clients: elite, opulent, strong, eccentric, modern or a hybrid of two elements – the luxury needs of the private clients can be matched seamlessly to the brands.
Director of Bluxe Global and African Market expert Joseph Farodoye along with the team are on a mission to destigmatise perceptions of Africa, enforce the narrative and truth of a flourishing African luxury market and showcasing how African brands can and will lead a new wave in the luxury market!
