It has been a while since I last had the chance to post about Little Boots. Her phenomenal “Shake Til Your Heart Breaks” mixtape dropped a couple of weeks ago and has pretty much been on repeat since then (download link under the cut). Today the full single for “Shake” went live – and it is pretty f*cking ace. Definitely worth the last two years of anticipation. Little Boots is still my favourite BBC Sound winner to date – nothing has changed. Can’t wait for the launch party in a couple of weeks hosted by my girl Munroe Bergdorf.

rihanna: talk that talk – album preview (snippets)

That Rihanna reign just won’t let up. Ok, so before you hit play below, check this post from my boy MuuMuse that details his reaction to a written preview of the album GIF by GIF. It is phenomenal. Personally, I am stoked for this album to drop and am super excited that Rihanna is working with Bangladesh (Kelis – Bossy, Beyonce – Diva) and lots of Stargate (obviously). If that wasn’t enough, one of the rumoured bonus tracks is set to be a reworking of Saxon – the track that Nicki Minaj wrote for Rihanna pre-“Mac, OPI and a fragrance too / kiss my ass and my an*s cos I’m finally famous”. It is called Red Lipstick and will sound something like this…(flawless fan video alert):
