Drawing us in with an astral, psychedelic synth featuring a gated design, Ronetik opens A New Beginning with cosmic intrigue and the lyrics, “Over the horizon, break of the day, holds all of the answers, my heart’s ever had, all fear and deception dissolved into shade, I feel something special is coming our way…”
The opus expands with high bell synths and a subversive textured bass with industrial adjacency as we are invited into a new beginning. We immediately connect with the intentionality of Ronetik‘s prose and the optimistic nature of what we experience. The production is sublime and the visual imagery that manifests is sublime.
As for the message, it feels super zeitgeist and delivered at a time when we, as a collective, need it the most. This is exactly the sort of mantra-based song that we need to be consciously experiencing to uplift our spirits and align with a more spiritually empowered energy.

There is no doubt that A New Beginning holds a cinematic allure. The song’s central idea of leaving the past behind and finding the courage to move forwards gives the track a natural place in films like Luc Besson‘s Lucy, Limitless, or a movie like Interstellar. We could also imagine it landing a sync placement in a TV show such as the more trippy and psychedelic, Nine Perfect Strangers or PLUR1BUS on Apple TV.
Speaking on his artistry, Ronetik confesses, “Music has been my way to express feelings and stories in a way words alone cannot.” The artist’s belief in “emotion before technique” is also evident throughout.
Needless to say, we are enchanted by the sense of possibility that runs through A New Beginning and have added the track to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Ronetik, including Hurricane, Whole Again, and Your Love.
