There is no doubt that Juju Vibes would be able to land a sync placement in a film like Lucy, Blade, or Limitless which share similar themes to the narrative of the track. Speaking on the deeper intention behind the release, Romeo Saints confesses, “Written from the perspective of an Architect of Survival, this track reclaimed personal power after years of severe hardship. As a Black gay male producer in the UK, the release directly honours house music’s historic roots in Black and queer liberation.”
We really vibe with the powerful sense of resilience that runs through the composition. Romeo Saints intelligently uses progressive house and electronica as a vehicle for self-reclamation. We also appreciate the theatrical vision behind Romeo Saints’ artistry. His concept of the “Architect of Survival” definitely feels fully realised. The result is a cohesive tapestry of dynamic sound that feels suited to an underground rave at FOLD/UNFOLD in London or the main stage at Tomorrowland.
