Drawing us in with a meditative yet cerebral synthscape with cosmic vocal textures, Cash Every Denomination opens the 2026 Remix of Ingredients of Life with the powerful and purpose-driven lyrics, “I don’t love to leave, raised you from your situation, treated you, like my seed, giving you what you want, and provide to all your needs…”
We appreciate the dimensionality of the production and the journey that Cash Every Denomination takes us on with his message. In essence, the 2026 Remix of Ingredients of Life reflects on life’s purpose through love, hardship, success, failure, temptation and growth. It shows how all of these components become “ingredients” that shape who we are.
From a spiritual perspective, it reminds us that we are often guided, protected, and given second chances. It encourages us to choose compassion over selfishness, and learn from our struggles. It is a conscious message to let go of harmful habits and share our blessings with others, helping us to recognise that true fulfilment comes from within.
The production is sublime and the choral harmonies are super intricate, celestial and divine. Speaking on his influences, C.E.D. confesses, “The remix to the release was influenced by artists like Jay Z, Michael Jackson, Anderson.Paak. I wanted to experiment with new sounds.” We can feel this come through, but it is also clear that Cash Every Denomination is creating a universe unto his own design.
We learn that Ingredients of Life was recorded at Gat 3 Studios in Charlotte, NC, which has hosted artists including Mary J. Blige, Lil Durk, Ty Dolla $ign, and DaBaby. The project was mixed and mastered by Ken Lewis. We could imagine the 2026 Remix of Ingredients of Life being featured in an Oscar-winning film like, One Battle After Another, or a TV show like Euphoria on HBO.
For some background, Cedric “Dr. Cedric” Streeter, better known as C.E.D. (Cash Every Denomination) hails from Washington Heights/Dyckman, New York. Inspired by the golden era of hip-hop, he discovered his passion for music at age five in his father’s recording studio and later developed his craft as a songwriter and performer.
After a modelling stint in Stockholm, Sweden, he returned to the U.S. to work with Oz Music Group and Roc-A-Fella Records while performing at venues such as SOB’s and BMI showcases. In 2004, he founded Kaos Records, LLC, combining his love for music with his entrepreneurial vision.
