Establishing the mood with a cosmic riff and cerebral, astral motifs featuring ad-libs of the words, “I’ll be there…”, Turtuga Collective open Sintura with dimensionality and atmosphere. There is no doubt that the track also holds a cinematic allure, and we appreciate the expansion into fierce Afro house vibe.
We could imagine Sintura being featured at a pivotal moment in a show like The Polygamist, or Fatal Seduction. The ebbs and flows with touches of bass distortion keep the sound and energy fresh and we appreciate the summer vibes that manifest.
Speaking on the dynamic release, Turtuga Collective confess, “Rather than following current trends, we focus on creating records that DJs can play while listeners keep returning to long after release day.”
The club vibe is tangible and we can see it being played on the beaches of Mykonos at Scorpios, or a sunset rave at Camps Bay in Cape Town. We learn that Turtuga Productions is an independent company from the Netherlands with Caribbean roots.

They tell us that this release is part of a much larger vision for the collective, “proving that independent music can compete internationally through strong songs, consistent branding and long-term thinking.”
Their philosophy is one of “Legacy Over Noise”. They confess, “Rooted in Curaçao and based in the Netherlands, we blend Afro House, Afrobeat and global rhythms into cinematic, emotional records that connect cultures. Every release is treated as a long-term asset rather than disposable content, with a focus on authentic storytelling, world-class production and meaningful collaborations across continents.”
We love the philosophical depth and the futurism attached to their energy. We have added Sintura to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Turtuga Collective, including Pachanga, and Bandi Kas.
