Spiritually attuned artist Aruba Red is making her comeback, and opening the door to her forthcoming album Latent Echo with her new single, Lilac Glycerine. The track manifests as a deeply conscious and emotionally restorative sacred ritual and mantra.
Aruba shares how it was inspired by a profoundly personal experience, documenting the three days leading up to the resolution of a terrifying court case that had kept both the artist and her son trapped in uncertainty for over a year.
During that tense period, a high priestess gifted her a lilac tincture, whilst a circle of supportive women surrounded her with unwavering love and strength. Together, these acts of compassion became a source of healing, protection, and faith. Aruba Red describes feeling shielded across multiple dimensions, and experiencing an extraordinary sense of spiritual refuge, which now radiates through every note of the song.
Lilac Glycerine is designed to embody the transformative power of intention, affirmation, and collective healing. Remarkably, only three days after writing the piece, the court case concluded positively. Manifestation is real. The song was poignantly released on the Blue Moon, and Aruba has promised a new song on every full moon throughout the remainder of 2026.

The lyrics are intentionally minimalist, relying on repetition to evoke the meditative qualities of a chant rather than the narrative structure of a traditional song. The recurring hook, “Lilac glycerine, floating down my tongue…” transforms the tincture into both a literal remedy and a symbolic sacrament.
The shamanic track also features Renell Shaw on electric and bass guitars, Camilo Tirado on bombo legüero, percussion, atmospheric production effects, and backing vocals with additional harmonies from Lidiaana and Joe Hurrell. It was recorded at Muddy Road Studios and mixed and mastered by Camilo Tirado at The Chocolate Factory.
To celebrate the release, Aruba Red has also unveiled a limited edition offering of the actual tincture that inspired the music – a beautifully sweet homemade elixir created with this spring’s lilacs, infused in organic glycerine, available via arubaredtreasured.com.
Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added Lilac Glycerine to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we anticipate the release of Latent Echo, and continue to stream Aruba Red’s exquisite, growing discography, including Wild Woman.
