By now, you will know that DJ Cards has been consistently releasing smash hit after smash hit. The genre-defying producer is on a roll, and when we heard that he was back with Forward, we couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in his universe once again and share our experience.
Forward opens with a dimensional synthscape which feels like a spiritual ascension. The intricacy is cosmic and literally out of this world. A vocal synth riff entices us deeper whilst a gated EDM riser leads us to a super dynamic and expansive energy which feels like the embodiment of Forward momentum.
The sonic ebbs and flows are cohesive and we appreciate the astral notions combined with the euphoric elements. The track is perfect for uplifting your day, working out in the gym, going for a run, or a drive in the sun. It is inspiring and activating at the same time.
The overarching celestial design evokes notions of ancient-futurism, much like his previous release, Cathedral of Light. It feels like a big and uplifting hug from the universe.
