Drawing us in with a mediative frequency, vinyl texture, and ASMR vocals, blue pablo opens baby, mess me entirely with ethereal dimensionality, self-reflection and an invitation to breathe. The opus expands with an atmospheric trap beat and whispered vocals with astral melodic riffs.
We appreciate the poetic prowess and the raw authenticity that transmutes with baby, mess me entirely. Speaking on the release, blue pablo confesses, “I wrote this song back when I felt like I was using lust and sex in order to not feel sad or heavily distract myself from harsh events from my life. It’s a song about performative euphoria laced with moans and alcohol.”
The cinematic allure is tangible, and we could imagine baby, mess me entirely in a scene with Cassie and Maddy in Euphoria on HBO, or perhaps an episode of Elite on Netflix. blue pablo cites Lana Del Rey, Shygirl and Rihanna as sonic influences for the track, which we can feel manifest. Fans of Kelela would also be able to vibe with what blue pablo has created.
The rising artist from Albuquerque elaborates, “This song delves into I think a niche topic. Not so much the sexiness of it but overall the performance of it all. The intro quite literally is (chewed glass, sliced gums, digest, throw up).”

Philosophically, blue pablo continues, “Your body will quite literally reject something obviously bad for you but the intent is there. The song is layered with sexiness but performance, destruction… but knowingly. It’s all a very confusing and layered experience. Using a man’s love as a way to feel important and wanted. Distraction at its finest.”
We love the depth and the overarching sound design of the track. blue pablo‘s flow is sublime and we appreciate the switch-ups of the delivery, whilst the artist continues to showcase a cohesive tapestry of sound. The piano outro and strings add elegance, before rippling drums and vocalizations in the final moments.
Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added baby, mess me entirely to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of blue pablo, including Wasted Awayyy, and Beautiful Gods.
