We previously featured MILYAM when she took us on a seductive and spiritual trip with the evocative and atmospheric single, Intimacy, so when we found out that the rising star was back with Lost in the Jungle, we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Lost in the Jungle opens with a vinyl frequency, expanding with glitched synths, ethereal guitar and cosmic ad-libs as MILYAM shares dreamy, situational prose. We love her delivery and the poetic depth that she conveys.
The dimensional production fuses dark-pop, trap and elements of R&B, but fans of Grimes would also be able to connect with Lost in the Jungle. As for the message, it’s a high concept journey of escapism. It feels zeitgeist and socially relevant at a time when we need it the most!
There is no doubt that the track comes to life with cinematic allure – a signature of MILYAM‘s sonic universe. We could imagine this in a scene from Beauty in Black, so let’s hope that MILYAM manifests a sync placement for the third season of the iconic show.

For some background, MILYAM is an international media personality and independent artist with an unmistakeable brand of immersive, atmospheric artistry. Through her self-owned brand EMPIRE, she has built a distinctive creative identity that merges sophisticated storytelling, high-level production, and a globally inspired aesthetic. With recognition across platforms in both the UK and USA, MILYAM continues to establish herself as a visionary force in modern alternative pop culture.
We love the mood that her music creates, and have added the sultry Lost in the Jungle to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream the star’s growing discography, including Intimacy, and Dream.
