Drawing us in with a meditative frequency and an intricate piano performance with a hummed ad-lib, kryosyn opens Fading Away with the lyrics, “It starts with silence, heavy in the air, all I know is the way to what we share, watch the distance grow between our hands, now the silence feels like sinking sand…”
The opus expands with a high emotional quotient, cinematic allure and poetic prowess, as we are taken on a relatable journey by kryosyn. The production is anthemic and truly taps into our hearts’ centre. Naturally, the mix is pristine, due in part to the production approach behind the track.
The piano riffs punctuate the end of the first chorus as the second verse builds with a more assertive and self-realized energy. The ethereal moments that lead into the choruses are sublime and we could imagine the track landing a number of sync placements – perhaps a TV show like Euphoria on HBO or the upcoming season of My Life with the Walter Boys.

Speaking on the message of Fading Away, kryosyn confesses, “Fading Away is a melancholic yet beautifully melodic indie pop track about the slow, painful process of watching a relationship quietly dissolve. The song captures the weight of lingering memories and the bittersweet act of letting go.”
The delicate finale leaves us yearning for more, and the innovative approach to song creation still feels deeply human. Elaborating on their artistry, kryosyn from Switzerland says, “I’m very open-minded with a passion for emotional, melodic and atmospheric music regardless of genre. Currently focusing on intimate vocal-driven pop songs, though planning to expand into new genres finding out what works best for me as I’m building a catalogue.”
Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added Fading Away to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream kryosyn‘s debut single, Night Drift, and anticipate future releases.
