Our obsession with Kamila Csenge seems to grow with every listen. We just featured her recent track, The Void, so naturally when we heard she was back so soon with Music Forever, we were intrigued by the title to say the least, and couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in her universe once more.
Music Forever opens with a brooding bass performance with astral metallic percussion details. It expands with padded drums, guitar and a cinematic allure. We appreciate the pristine mix and the way that each instrument has the chance to express itself. The cymbal textures are sublime, punctuating Kamila’s expressive guitar performance.
Fans of Carlos Santana and Jimi Hendrix would absolutely be able to connect with this, although it also feels like a scene from a movie like Sin City in a dark, jazz bar at night. We love the intricacy and high-octane energy that Kamila performs with. She is truly a masterful guitar player and her emotion is expressed through every note.
The repetitive production is hypnotic, but switches up halfway through the piece to create a dimensional soundscape before a meditative moment that leads us through to a subtle tempo shift and a more mysterious and dramatic vibe. Kamila’s guitar reaches the higher notes, like a cosmic ascension – as if we are reaching a higher plane of existence and expression. The dynamism and tempo continue to increase, almost like her hands are on fire.

The culmination is sublime and euphoric. To experience this in a live setting would be mind-blowing. The compositional breakdown for the final minute of the piece is refined and unexpected as it retains momentum with the drums truly coming into their own before a peaceful respite.
Speaking on the release, Kamila says, “Music Forever reflects on how music is experienced today – often treated more as a commercial product than as pure expression. The song captures both the tension and the longing for authenticity in a fast-moving world. At its heart, it carries a hopeful message: no matter how the industry changes, music itself will always endure. It lives beyond trends, beyond commerce – music is forever.”
We love the intentional nature of the piece, and have added Music Forever to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Kamila Csenge, and await the release of her debut album, Behind the Universe, on May 22.
