We previously featured Bradby Sings when they tapped into notions of nostalgia with the authentic and romantic single, Sing Out Loud, so when we heard that the duo was back with I Believe In Miracles, poignantly released on the full moon, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in their universe once more.
I Believe In Miracles opens with a jazz-infused, cinematic soundscape and the lyrics, “I believe in miracles, in fairy tales and oracles, not because I think they’re real, but for how they make me feel…”. Detailed with trumpets, and evoking imagery of a smoky jazz bar, the lyrics are inspiring and fantastical, a dose of escapism that we all need right now.
The production and mix are pristine – due in part to the technology used to create the track. We deeply connect with the journey that Bradby Sings are taking us on. Fans of Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of…) by Lou Bega will absolutely be able to connect with I Believe In Miracles, and we could also imagine it in a TV show like Euphoria on HBO, perhaps in a dream sequence where Rue imagines the possibilities of her life.
The middle eight taps into a more emotive energy as Bradby Sings share the words, “This fragile world can feel so cold…I need a dream to comfort me, let me build a different world, where I feel safe and in control…”
This feels so relatable and zeitgeist right now as we are faced with so much global turmoil and corruption; I Believe In Miracles is the antidote.

Speaking on the release, the duo says, “The song is about finding comfort in what might not be real…but who cares? I Believe In Miracles questions the line between truth and emotional survival. The song isn’t about literal belief, it’s about the human need to feel safe, hopeful, and reassured, even if that means embracing ideas we think might not be real.”
Bradby Sings are singer-songwriters Henna and Stiles, who are based in the UK. They are influenced by traditional British wry songwriters like Kirsty Maccoll, Arctic Monkeys, Elvis Costello and Lily Allen, and tell us how they write songs with two essential ingredients: a catchy tune and poignant lyrics.
Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added I Believe In Miracles to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Bradby Sings, including Stay Strong, and People of the Free World.
