We previously featured Samaistha for notions of love energy and a conscious awakening on the meditative composition, Upgrade Your DNA, so when we heard that the project was back with Where The Senses Meet, we were curious and couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in artist Jürg Schwarzenbach‘s universe once again.
Where The Senses Meet poignantly comes in a 5 minutes and 55 seconds, and opens with an astral frequency and atmospheric vocalizations. Healing, immersive energy surrounds us as we are drawn into a state of peace and oneness.
The opus expands with spiritual vocal harmonies, inviting connection with ourselves, the universe, and as detailed in the title of the track, our senses. We feel waves of hypnotic energy pulse through us as the soundscape builds with a repeated motif, evolving with cosmic dimensionality.
We appreciate the intricacy of the composition and the cinematic allure that manifests. There is no doubt that Where The Senses Meet would be perfect in a psychedelic TV show like Nine Perfect Strangers, or perhaps a movie like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The climax of the track is subtle, and designed for repeat plays of the song as it unfurls, leaving us yearning for more.
