We previously featured Garbage Garden for flipping the script and rewriting reality with the inspiring and dimensional single, busy. being. Real, so when we heard that the project was back with Quiet Garden, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to immerse ourselves in their world once again.
Quiet Garden opens with an intricate, sublime and uplifting piano performance with a meditative synth and delicate vocals featuring situational, philosophical prose. We immediately connect with the poetic depth that manifests, and it is clear that fans of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo would connect with the haunting, existential narrative of the track, although the hyperpop elements are certainly more pronounced.
There is a cinematic allure that manifests, perfect for a film like Roommates, or a TV show like Euphoria on HBO. The build of the track is epic, we love the cerebral details that come to life with dynamism and the uniqueness that we have come to appreciate from Garbage Garden’s productions.

Speaking on the message of Quiet Garden, Garbage Garden confesses, “This track explores the paradox of human relationships: the ‘ghosts’ who sustain our lives through invisible devotion.” Once again, the offering is super dimensional – the detail that comes to life with the song is absolutely brilliant, and fused with Garbage Garden‘s songwriting, and innovative production technology, the track is absolutely epic.
Garbage Garden is a visionary and multi-layered music project based in Kobe, Japan. It fuses cinematic soundscapes with deeply human narratives, tapping into notions of pop, alternative rock, metalcore, and psychedelic electronica. Thematically, the project is centered on existence, identity, and digital-age alienation, which feels very zeitgeist in today’s world!
We love what Garbage Garden creates, and have added Quiet Garden to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream their exquisite, growing discography, and anticipate future releases!
