Setting the tone with a dimensional synthscape featuring subtle snares, Neitam Am opens No Regrets with a raw and real voice note with the words, “Yeah I just been going through a lot lately, and I don’t want you to get caught up in it, talk to you later, goddam, fuck…”
The opus expands with a textured kick and a captivating, honestly introspective performance of the prose, “Feelings, fuck these feelings, from a heart I didn’t have, I’m taking off the fucking mask, how can I get you back, good mistakes don’t have to last…”
Needless to say, we are enthralled by the high emotional quotient that manifests with No Regrets, and the intense authenticity that transmutes with the song. Speaking on the release, Neitam Am confesses, “No Regrets tells the story, in a specific transparency, of an ex-lover realizing the error of foolish actions in love, who wants to amend the special bond.”
This is very clear with the message, but it is the charismatic depth that truly makes the track unique. The little self-reflective laughs, the realness, the pain, the want, the truth. This feels so needed in today’s world. A human voice.

The beat evolves subtly but the minimalism remains. It taps into an almost Eastern notion as the song progresses, and we are grateful that No Regrets comes with a music video that further cements Neitam Am‘s raw emotion.
Circling back with a voice note of the words, “Let’s make it real…”, the song feels like it has closure. It would be perfect for a scene in a TV show like Euphoria on HBO, perhaps a scene that reflects the human connection exemplified in the song.
We learn that Neitam Am‘s vocal performance is shaped by her background as a “church girl.” In the song, she connects that side of herself with the “lover boy” within her. Growing up in the Southern United States, faith played a big role in her life. She tells us how it remains an important part of who she is, and she plans to keep building on it through her music as she works towards her first album.
Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added No Regrets to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we watch the live performance of the track, and anticipate future releases from Neitam Am.
