By now, you will know how much we admire the work of Audren – a consciously astute artist and prophetic lyricist who always taps into profound, conscious themes with her work. Naturally, when we heard that she had released a song titled, We’re All Lost, our curiosity was piqued, and we couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
The track opens with an intimate yet intricate piano performance before Audren shares the opening, prose, “I get cold feet sometimes…” conveying introspection and an almost theatrical adjacency as she delivers a thought-provoking message about the human experience.
The opus expands with dimensional guitar and textured drums with a timeless, ’80s energy as Audren conveys the universal feeling of confusion and emotional overwhelm in a world that seems to be crumbling.
In a relatable way, she touches upon how we share the pressure to pretend everything is fine even when we might feel disconnected inside. Audren openly acknowledges this shared vulnerability, guiding us from that sense of being lost towards love energy and hope.

Fans of Norah Jones might be able to connect with the soundscape and tenderness, but Audren’s sonic fingerprint is unmistakably unto her own cosmic, good witch design. The song evolves into a cathartic refuge from the chaos of the world.
Co-created with her life partner, guitarist and producer Chris Rime, the track embraces improvisation – especially for the final piano moments. We also really love the airy and cerebral ad-libs that give it a euphoric energy, tapping into a high spiritual quotient.
As always, we are in awe, and have added We’re All Lost to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Audren‘s wider discography including A New Page, and When Freedom Dies.
