We appreciate the raw authenticity and the build of the track. It taps into a cinematic allure, perfect for a range of sync deals – notably something that features a similar theme to Eye of TJ‘s narrative. As for the vocal range – we are in awe, and the charisma that we experience is uncanny.
We learn that Tonight, I Miss You serves as a holiday track that explores the reality of a “Blue Christmas”. This taps into notions of insomnia, loneliness and December memories. Following a breakout debut month with over 24,000 streams and features on GRUNGECAKE and The Route of Rock, Eye of TJ has definitely started to make his mark.
Fans of The Fray, Lifehouse, The Script, Daughtry, Secondhand Serenade and Breaking Benjamin will be able to connect with Tonight, I Miss You – particularly in part to its introspective nature and high emotional quotient – and of course the sublime guitar soundscape!
