We recently featured Blind Man’s Daughter when she shared a cinematic and emotive ode to her father Harbor Boulevard, so naturally, we couldn’t wait to hear the follow up single, All I Need, and share our experience!
The track opens with a celestial synthscape with atmospheric ad libs, tapping into a new and fresh energy for Blind Man’s Daughter. It has an almost dark-pop meets tropical house feel, and we connect with how the star shares her genre-expansive energy with us. We are impressed with the display of dynamism that Ashley Wolfe shares showcasing her diverse offering as an artist.
In essence, All I Need is designed to explore the notions taking control of your life. The hook, “Take back my power…” truly summarises this. We learn that Ashley wrote it during a moment of frustration and renewal.

The lyrics highlight empowerment, independence and creative self-trust. It’s a reminder that action can replace waiting. Her delivery switch ups keep us engaged throughout and there is no doubt that the track is radio friendly, but we could also imagine it on a beach in Mykonos!
The production mixes subtle synths, acoustic textures and Latin-tropical infused grooves. The sentiment is hopeful yet introspective. Ashley also wrote, performed, produced and mixed everything herself showing us her multi-disciplinary nature.
We are also excited to learn that a full concept album, titled Architect of Devotion, is set to arrive New Year’s Eve this year! In the meantime, we have added All I Need to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of Blind Man’s Daughter!
