We previously featured Lezzy Osbourne for her poignant and emotionally raw debut single, Etched Within My Flesh, so when we heard that the rising star was back with Black Widow’s Web, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.
Black Widow’s Web opens with a cerebral and haunting frequency, expanding with a moody guitar melody, and an astral wail as Lezzy Osbourne sings, “It’s not your time to die…”. This brief introductory statement is followed by a musical interlude before Lezzy continues with the prose, “In the darkest corner, the black widow awaits… her web is weaved and now she baits with intoxicating deceit, she lures you in…”
We are immediately captivated by the metaphorical depth that the lyricism exudes. The cinematic allure would make the track perfect for a range of synch deals – perhaps an episode of Wednesday on Netflix or The Girlfriend on Amazon Prime.
The track draws us into a world of seduction and danger. Lezzy’s hypnotic vocals are sublime and eerie – very seasonal – which explains the Halloween release date! We learn that the track was written, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely by Lezzy herself, showcasing her multidisciplinary artistry and complete creative control.

In line with the natural concept to the black widow, the lyrics tell a story of beauty that both attracts and destroys. It’s a poetic balance between allure and warning. Compared to her debut single Etched Within My Flesh, this track reveals a different side of Lezzy.
Here, she’s mysterious, playful and a little dangerous. Her voice carries both confidence and vulnerability. It shows how deeply she connects with her music. The song’s upcoming music video, premiering on November 7, is set to deepen the eerie experience. We cannot wait!
In the meantime, we have added Black Widow’s Web to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Etched Within My Flesh, and anticipate the cinematic visual, and future releases from the emerging talent that is Lezzy Osbourne!
