Establishing the mood with sublime and celestial harp riffs, Kristy Chmura opens Dream Again with a metaphorical message as she sings, “I was crossing the bridge and saw a sign that read ‘life is worth living’ so I jumped… I jumped right in, surrendered to the universe…”
The opus expands with a vibrant synthscape to invite us to connect with our inner power in the face of our shared planetary turmoil. We appreciate the conscious message and the dimensional pop sound that emerges.
With Dream Again, Kristy Chmura brings to life a world where vulnerability meets cosmic determination. The New Jersey-based artist manifests a song that illuminates the human condition and universal consciousness with poetic grace and honesty.
At its core, Dream Again is about resilience. The notion of rediscovering one’s determination is brought to life with a high frequency soundscape and astute lyricism. We learn that the track was originally written as an acoustic piece for voice and harp, but evolved into something far grander when Kristy teamed up with Christian Eigner (drummer for Depeche Mode), Niko Stoessl, and Damien Musto.

We deeply connect with the mantra-esque lyrics that Kristy Chmura brings to life, and the intentional brand of pop that she is delivering. “Gonna find a way to dream again, even if the world is coming to an end…” sings the star, as she reassures us that the universe is indeed conspiring in our favour.
We have added Dream Again, which serves as the artist’s fourth single from her upcoming album Inner Solstice, to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Kristy Chmura‘s wider discography, including Wake Up, Eye Of tThe Storm, and Soul’s Revolution.
