Establishing the mood with celestial, almost haunting bell tones, expanding with textured percussion and an assertive, high octane techno bass line, iTechAik opens Dream Pack with dimensionality and a touch of subversion.
We appreciate the cohesive tapestry of sound that manifests, and the emotional resonance of the composition which has a cinematic allure. It evolves with vocal ad-libs which add further cerebral dynamism to the opus.
There is a trippy and psychedelic nuance to the composition, but overall it also feels club, rave or movie scene friendly – perhaps a sequel to Blade. The sonic switch ups keep us enthralled. Mid-way through there is almost a meditative moment, with a very cute and friendly panning synth line intertwined with the repeated ad-libs for brief moments. This leads us to a moody vocal thread which invites us to breathe out before a sublime outro, once again tapping into that mediative energy that we connected with half way through the composition.

Recorded in iTechAik’s home studio, Dream Pack is designed to capture the artist’s vision of blending rhythm and emotion to create a euphoric listening experience. We learn that iTechAik writes music they would want to dance to, bringing both joy and depth to their sound.
iTechAik has spent 16 years exploring genres like rap, drum and bass, and singing before finding a home in techno. Influenced by Boris Brejcha, their sound fuses catchy beats with emotional intensity.
Naturally, we are in awe of Dream Pack and have added the composition to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS and TRIPPY playlists, whilst we continue to stream iTechAik‘s wider discography, including Spec, and Flash-X!
