Drawing us in with a dimensional, tech-forward, glitch-enhanced cyber-adjacent soundscape, Muzaman opens S.Y.B. with dynamism, a pristine mix and boundless energy that feels cerebral and high octane.
The opus expands with textured percussion, atmospheric vocal samples exploding into the distance and laser-like energy into a fierce and assertive drum and bass vibe with ad-libs of the words, “Shake Your Booty…” aligned with the title of the track.
The track has a cinematic allure, perfect for a range of sync deals – perhaps a futuristic remake of Blade, or a club scene in a TV show like HBO‘s Euphoria. We appreciate the driving and whirring bass synths before a meditative respite for the middle eight which reconstructs into a boundless and almost psychedelic conclusion.

The release comes along with WYFT as part of a two-track EP package. We learn that both productions draw inspiration from neurofunk and progressive artists like Noisia and Mefjus. We deeply connect with Muzaman’s refined ear for detail and intensity, overall highlighting the visionary producer’s ability to balance technical precision with pure energy.
The heavy bass, high-octane vibes and undeniable dancefloor prowess are designed to mark a bold statement of Muzaman’s new and uncompromising direction. This is the result of years of experience and diverse influences from across the electronic music spectrum.
We have added S.Y.B. to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream the hard-slapping WYFT, and anticipate future release from Muzaman’s sonic universe!
