Tokyo’s own N² – DJ, producer, and all-around sonic disruptor – has dropped a deliriously addictive new music video for her track SL☆T RAVE featuring Aisho Nakajima, and it’s nothing short of a sensory overload in the best possible way!
The video, shot and edited by ON-1 (Jimi) and Yuen Hsieh, with creative direction from Yuen Hsieh & N², opens like a glitchy retro video game: a fuchsia pink and white “choose your mode” screen, inviting viewers to select their difficulty level and character. Within seconds, the world fractures into kaleidoscopic VHS-style fragments – grainy, chaotic, yet intensely alive.
From there, we’re pulled into N²’s kaleidoscope: hyper cuts, lo-fi distortion, and strobe-like pacing collide with a blue-lit performance sequence that positions N² front and center. Dressed in her signature aesthetic, the star radiates the authority and charisma of an artist fully in command of her universe. The effect is hypnotic, a digital fever dream that matches the subversive beat and restless energy of the track.

The visual world is a collective effort:
- VFX crafted by Yuen Hsieh & Alberto Bottim
- Produced by Seiho & N², with Seiho also behind the mix and master
- Aisho’s hair styled by RYO
- Featuring appearances from sheidA, Riko, Maria, and KYUNDESU
Much like Gaspar Noé’s Enter the Void, the video oscillates between futuristic surrealism and nostalgic grit. Its dizzying perspective flips mirror the track’s refusal to sit still, immersing us in a neon-drenched Tokyo dreamscape where time feels elastic.
For those unfamiliar, N² is more than a DJ and producer, she’s a cultural catalyst. Based in Tokyo, she helms her own club night KYUNDESU and has lit up global stages at SUBCULTURE, ULTRA TOKYO, and beyond. With SL☆T RAVE, she once again asserts herself as an artist unafraid to merge sonic chaos with radical visual storytelling.
The result? A rave anthem that doubles as an audiovisual wormhole, pulling us deep into N²’s world – and daring us not to lose ourselves in it.
SL☆T RAVE featuring Aisho Nakajima is out now on all platforms, and we have added the track to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream kyundesu, and await more releases from the multi-disciplinary legend!
