Drawing us in with an atmospheric, tropical house meets Afrobeats hybrid energy, Cosmiq opens Dance All Night with ethereal ad libs and luscious vocals singing, “Feel the rhythm, feel the tide, let it take you though the night…”
The opus expands with a cosmic dimensionality in line with the artist’s moniker, as if we are on a beach on an island at night. The vibe feels perfect for Scorpios in Mykonos of a full moon party in Thailand. We appreciate the uplifting energy that manifests with the prose, and the EDM-adjacent builds do indeed inspire to “dance all night” and feel alive.
The production has a timeless vibe, but the mix is progressive, clearly using pristine sonic technology to bring to life the universal message of the track. Speaking on the construction of the release, Cosmiq confesses, “Dance All Night was created and recorded entirely in my home studio. Working in this personal space gave me full creative freedom and allowed me to shape every detail of the track exactly as I envisioned it. The home studio has become a place of inspiration — where ideas turn into sound without limits or distractions. For me, this makes the release especially meaningful, as it reflects both the independence and authenticity behind Cosmiq’s music.”
With reference to his influences, the Dutch rising star adds, “Dance All Night was inspired by a mix of global sounds and artists who blend energy with emotion. Influences such as David Guetta, Major Lazer, and J Balvin shaped the track’s vibrant balance of house, Latin, and Afro-inspired rhythms.” We can feel this come through, although there is no doubt that Cosmiq is manifesting a sound unto his own.
There is also a cinematic allure to the piece, which brings to life a cohesive and immersive tapestry of sound. We can imagine Dance All Night garnering a multitude of sync deals, perhaps a night scene in Love Island or Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle, or even a Hollywood movie scene set in a tropical destination!
Naturally, we love what Cosmiq is creating, and have added Dance All Night to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream Cosmiq’s growing discography, including Glow Up, and Electric Pull.
