Even so, willine seeks a brighter future at a time when society needs this empowerment the most. The glimmer of hope and authenticity that shines through is captivating and cathartic. We appreciate the raw energy that willine transmutes. She reminds us of Yseult and Stromae, two iconic French artists who have shared their truth in a similar way.
Speaking on the release, willine confesses, “Whispers is a quiet scream in a noisy world — a raw and intimate piece carried by fragile piano and half-spoken lyrics. I wrote it for those who feel invisible, those who whisper because they’re tired of shouting into silence. I don’t make music to impress — I create to express. This track means a lot to me, and I hope it resonates with anyone who’s ever felt too soft for this world.”
