Lars Lervik takes us on a genre-expansive trip with enlightened new composition, Spring.Relief

Establishing the mood with a luscious and immersive guitar soundscape with textured, layered vocals and captivating harmonies, Lars Lervik opens Spring.Relief with dimensionality and a high emotional quotient.

The opus expands with cerebral electronica and astral melodies with divergent bass nuances to take us on a poetic and serene journey, in line with the title of the track. The melodic piano performance is sublime and we connect deeply with the intentional nature that Lars Lervik creates with.

We are met with an industrial bouncing detail, bridging us over to an ethereal middle eight, with cosmic detailing and an 8-bit, glitch adjacent moment, akin to a DMT trip. The track’s full circle nature is amplified with prose allowing us to tap into source energy, similar to a spiritual ascension.

Experiencing the psychedelic track offers a range of cerebral benefits, stimulating our minds in unique and profound ways. The intricate layers of sound, complex rhythms, and experimental melodies engage us deeply, and the immersive and hypnotic nature of Spring.Relief, with its intentional message, induces a sense of introspection, allowing us to explore our thoughts, emotions, and inner landscapes in a more introspective manner.

In essence, Spring.Relief has the potential to unlock new pathways in our brains, promoting relaxation, catharsis and fostering a sense of interconnectedness with the music and the world around us.

Speaking on the release of Spring.Relief, the Norwegian artist confesses, “This is a homage to the Spring here in Oslo. After many months of darkness and coldness, finally sun is present for a longer period and temperature is getting warmer and people hanging outside again. This winter has been hard, cold and long in Norway, and Spring.Relief trying to express this feeling.”

We love what Lars Lervik is creating and have added Spring.Relief to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the star’s growing discography, including his 2022 album, Fool Yourself, and 2023 EP, Be Around.
