TATE SEDAR shares dimensional ode to his home city with captivating new opus, San Francisco

We previously featured TATE SEDAR for his thought-provoking and inspiring visual for Find a Way, and his powerful and evocative Remix For Ukraine of Justin Bieber’s Hold On, so when we heard that the talented creator was back with San Francisco, we were curious and couldn’t wait to share our experience.

Establishing the mood with an immersive and ethereal synthscape, expanding into a textured, pulsating beat, TATE SEDAR opens San Francisco with the dynamism and dimensionality that we have come to expect from the rising artist.

The opus is magnetic, and euphoric, reminding us of the intricate depth that TATE SEDAR has to offer with his sound. We appreciate the cerebral nuance of the piece, and the mid point which taps into a more meditative, stripped back energy with astral vocal chops, before a more subversive bassline kicks in, re-building with atmospheric intent, into a powerful culmination.

The upbeat tempo and energetic beats of San Francisco stimulates our brains, no doubt leading to amplified levels of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward. This results in a boost in mood and overall sense of well-being, for which we are grateful to TATE SEDAR. Additionally, the dynamic nature of TATE SEDAR‘s post-EDM universe also helps us improve focus and concentration, making it a great choice for studying or working on tasks that require mental clarity.

The immersive and hypnotic nature of San Francisco induces a state of flow – an homage to the city itself – where we become fully absorbed in the music. This manifests a sense of relaxation and stress relief as our minds release endorphins and reduce cortisol levels. There is nothing quite like experiencing a TATE SEDAR composition for one’s internal well-being.

We learn that the composition not only traces back to TATE SEDAR‘s roots but is designed to herald “a transformative phase in his career, capturing the essence of innovation and nostalgia.” Overall, a fitting ode to a vibrant and progressive city!

TATE SEDAR has made a name for himself in the electronic music industry through notable accomplishments, such as his performance at the 2020 Insomniac Discovery Project: EDC Virtual Rave-a-Thon. The star has collaborated with renowned artists like Dada Life, Don Diablo, Cash Cash, Breathe Carolina, Wolfgang Gartner, DallasK, and Henry Fong, which has further established his reputation as an innovative musician.

It is no surprise that TATE SEDAR‘s earlier works have resonated globally, earning him features, radio airplay, and interviews on prominent EDM platforms. In 2023, he amassed over 5.7 million plays, securing a spot on the Insomniac Events artist roster. Tracks like Heaven, and Find a Way have received significant acclaim, with the former featured on EDM.com and the latter on Dancing Astronaut, along with a music video that garnered over 104,000 views. Additionally, the producer’s commitment to infusing electronic music with deeper themes is evident in his official remix of Hero by Empire’s Terrell Carter, which highlights Carter’s moving lyrics on civil rights, and his edit of Justin Bieber’s Hold On, aimed at supporting victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war.

We have added San Francisco to our New Music Spotlight playlist, as well as our brand new TRIPPY playlist, whilst we continue to stream the visionary’s wider discography including the extended mix of San Francisco, and anticipate future releases from TATE SEDAR!
