Speaking on the message of Without You, RISE confess, “The song deals with the difficult theme of loss following one of the original band members death; not an easy topic to write about, but it comes from the heart.”
The emotional rock song offers a sense of catharsis. The raw and passionate nature of Without You allows for a deep emotional connection that evokes a familiar experience, providing an outlet for processing and expressing our sentiments. We learn that RISE is a four piece band from Liverpool. The lineup comprises of Sam Kinley (aka stayMellow) on bass and vocals, Paul Kinley on keyboards and backing vocals with Alex Mahoney on drums and Brian Petch on guitar.
Without You is taken from the band’s 2024 EP, Memories and Possibilities. Elaborating on the record, the band tell us, “The aim of the Memories and Possibilities EP was to capture the energy the band produced live….we think we have certainly achieved it.”
