Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions tap into Earth energy for consciously enlightened opus, Human 1.0

Drawing us in with a metallic riser, Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions open Human 1.0 with an atmospheric, grunge vocal performance from singer Klim Apalkov, as he shares introspective and metaphorical prose.

The emotional quotient of Human 1.0 is zeitgeist and tangible, Gary’s lyricism transcends reality at the same time as offering a perspective on the current state of our planet. The track is taken from the band’s album, Asterion, and is designed to offer “a haunting narrative of humanity’s struggle in the face of climate change.”

We connect deeply with the message that Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions have to offer, and appreciate their conscious approach to song creation. Human 1.0 takes us on an eye-opening journey, laced with poetic prowess and an immaculate production.

Speaking on the release, Gary tells us, “Human 1.0 delves into the urgent need for environmental action, portraying the raw emotions of a planet in turmoil. The song is a powerful commentary on the consequences of neglecting our responsibility to protect our planet.”

Fans of Audioslave, Linkin Park and Tool will be able to connect with this iteration of Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions, although the band’s philanthropic approach to song writing certainly puts them in a league of their own.

We have added Human 1.0 to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions‘ wider discography, and anticipate future releases from the talented creators!
