Scattered Thoughts Gathering channels psychedelic surrealism for transcendental and thought-provoking new opus, Prophet 6 Selfie

Setting the tone with a dimensional synthscape and atmospheric vocals, Scattered Thoughts Gathering opens Prophet 6 Selfie with the evocative and expansive prose, “There’s no time, there’s no time…” followed by a cry for help.

The opus evolves with a trippy and subversive synth melody to take us on a cosmic adventure with psychedelic nuance, further cementing the conscious concept highlighted in the opening prose – reminding us that we are living in a complexed, simulated reality where everything exists all at once.

We appreciate the high notes juxtaposed with whirring bass, inviting us to connect with the creator on an existential and cosmic level. The composition showcases instrumental mastery, with an experimental edge.

For the conclusion of Prophet 6 Selfie we are once again greeted by thought-provoking, layered and textured vocals which hold a meditative energy before sending us astral for the finale and encouraging us to hit the repeat button in to re-live the innovative experience presented by Scattered Thoughts Gathering.

Speaking on the release, the creator confesses, “Scattered Thoughts Gathering is a project in which I choose to shape and share some of the haunting inner ideas that caress my mind.”

The visionary composer continues, “Prophet 6 Selfie was inspired by daydreams and sound creation process mixed with some emotions that just happened to come around at the same time. All synth sounds are custom-created, and were made to dance along the passage of time and it’s inevitable absence for those who believe that it’s a kind of possession. It is an illustration of a state of mind, for each state of mind can always relate to other’s minds.”

We appreciate what Scattered Thoughts Gathering has set out to create, and their surrealist approach to song creation. We have added Prophet 6 Selfie to our brand new TRIPPY playlist, as well as our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the rising artist’s wider discography, including their debut single, Sub 37 Selfie, and their sophomore release, Let Off Selfie.
